The owner of the Law Office of Sean M. Wilson, LLC, Sean M. Wilson has been practicing law since 2013, concentrating primarily on personal injury. With offices in Charleston and Columbia, South Carolina, he assists clients with legal matters involving motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, wrongful death, premises liability, civil litigation, and workers’ compensation.
Licensed to practice before the state and federal courts in South Carolina, Mr. Wilson has secured numerous settlements, verdicts, and judgments on behalf of his clients. His compassion for those he represents stems from a genuine commitment to helping individuals harmed by the negligence or carelessness of others.
Mr. Wilson earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and government from the College of Charleston. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law, where he was active in the Black Law Students Association and a member of the Federal Bar Association’s Student Division. He was also honored with the law school’s public service award.
Early in his career, Mr. Wilson worked as an associate attorney, gaining experience in evaluating evidence, drafting pleadings and motions, developing strategies for gathering information, and preparing for trial. During this time, he built confidence in trying and settling cases, arguing motions, and negotiating with opposing counsel. He also clerked for several well‑regarded personal injury firms in South Carolina.
A native of Columbia, Mr. Wilson later moved to Charleston and established his law firm to serve the people of South Carolina. Having handled numerous catastrophic injury cases, he continues to work tirelessly to secure the results his clients deserve. He also shares his experience with aspiring attorneys as an adjunct professor at the Charleston School of Law.
